ABOUT
Alex Jones is an Australian artist based in Melbourne, Victoria. He typically uses charcoal, graphite and printmaking to display hyper-realism, still-life and memento-mori with a contemporary twist.

He has taken commissions from a number of clients, creating art for personal display, book covers and as gifts.
​
He has exhibited in the WRAD Art Competition, the Lighthouse Theatre and at the Portland Rotary Club.
Jones displays extreme attention to detail in all artworks, often exploring depth, form and movement through highly contrasting shades achieved using quality charcoal.

- Portland Rotary Club Art Competition – Best Contemporary Painting winner.
- WRAD Art Competition People Choice and 3rd place.
- Interviewed and was the feature artist in Bluestone Magazine.
EDUCATION
- Currently studying the Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne.
- Completed VCE at Brauer College (2015).
